Everyone’s financial situation is unique and not all benefit plans cover medical cannabis. Spectrum Therapeutics understands this and is proud to offer affordable pricing solutions to help patients afford the medical cannabis they need.

Compassionate Pricing

Our Compassionate Pricing Program offers a 20% savings on our full range of medical cannabis products for patients that meet these eligibility requirements:

Eligibility Required Supporting Documents
Annual income of $35,000 or less Notice of assessment (NOA) that indicates your name, address, and line 15000 (gross income) or T5007 Statement of Benefits Form.
Enrolment in a federal or provincial financial assistance program Proof of enrolment in CPP Disability (T4A(P) Line 16), ODSP, AISH, SAID, or other provincial program.
Enrolment in Employment Insurance (EI) Most recent bank statement, showing your name and proof of deposit (cannot be joint account) or EI statement/approval letter dated within last three months.
Employment as a first responder Please send us a proof of employment, retirement, or ID showing you are currently employed or retired as a First Responder (Including Paramedics, Firefighters, Police Officers, 911 Dispatchers, and Correctional Officers)
Being under the age of 18 and having a medical condition for which cannabis is authorized by a healthcare provider Submission of a medical document by a prescribing Healthcare professional

Still Serving and Retired Military Personnel

We Support All Canadian Veterans and Still-Serving Members
Effective May 27, 2025, the 50% Releasing Veteran Discount now requires a documented release date within one year of application. Without a documented release date, patients will be enrolled under the 20% Still Serving Discount unless a temporary exemption is granted.

We now offer 3 types of military-related discounts (non-direct billed):

  • 20% Still Serving Discount: For active duty members without a scheduled release date.
  • 50% Releasing Veteran Discount: For service members with a documented release date within 1 year.*
  • 50% Retired Military Discount: For fully retired veterans not billed through insurance.

*Requires official documentation. Discount valid until release date. After release, patients must transition to direct billing or apply for the Retired Discount. If no documentation is available, a one year temporary discount may be granted with clinic confirmation. After one year, documentation is required or the discount reverts to 20%.
